Background
After the success of the 4th International Symposium of Supercritical Water-cooled Reactors (ISSCWR-4) at Heidelberg in Germany, the Canadian Nuclear Society (CNS) is organizing the 5th Symposium in the series, in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency. This symposium is aimed at providing a forum for discussion of advancements and issues, sharing information and technology transfer, and establishing future collaborations on research and developments for supercritical water-cooled reactors (SCWR) between international research organizations. It is of interest to those involved in research and development of SCWR core design, fuel design, materials, chemistry, corrosion, thermal-hydraulics, and safety analyses. The official language of the symposium is English.
