A ‘NUCLEAR SCIENCE WEEK’ initiative by the Durham Region, UOIT, Toronto, Sheridan Park and Golden Horseshoe Branches of the CNS

In partnership with Durham College, UOIT and OCNI

We are planning the second edition of our Student Job Fair for the Nuclear Industry as part of Nuclear Science Week, to take place on::

Tuesday, October 16, 2018, 16:00 – 20:00

At the UOIT/Durham College North Oshawa Campus

To better last year’s very successful Job Fair, we are expecting over 600 graduating or recently graduated students from colleges and universities in the Greater Toronto and Golden Horseshoe areas, and beyond. They will be able to interface with around 50 employers and support organizations. In parallel to the Job Fair, there will be a number of break-out sessions where more can be learned about the nuclear industry, and about other subjects of key importance to someone starting a career.

We have listened to your comments and suggestions, and are running this event during the week as opposed to the weekend. The late afternoon timing also facilitates student participation and logistics such as parking. Furthermore, unlike our first event, all activities will be run on the exhibit floor, including food (pizza) and beverages for everyone.

If you are a student about to graduate, or just graduated, click here.

It is our goal to assemble as many employers and other industry stakeholders as we can to fill the venue. As an employer or exhibitor, you will have to opportunity to sign up for a booth at a modest price, and consider an additional sponsorship to help enhance the students’ experience at the event.

Employers and Exhibitors, registration is open at this link.
