Nuclear on track for an all-time global high in 2025

A graph circulating recently on energy LinkedIn suggested that nuclear fission was steadily giving way to nuclear fusion in the global energy system – though only if you define solar power as fusion. It’s a cute little joke, and while it does make the point that the share of nuclear in global power generation has been falling while the share of solar has been growing, it seriously misses the bigger picture.
